Running Business, Raising Awareness, Raising Funds
- Establishing our charitable organization’s strategic plan and policies to advance our mission and vision, while providing oversight of operations and financial regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring effective governance by fulfilling our legal and ethical obligations to the law, our donors, staff, volunteers, clients, and the public at large.
- Protecting our assets and providing oversight to ensure that financial, human, and material resources are appropriately used to further the organization’s mandate.
- Managing fundraising goals through our Harmony Ball Gala, annual Telethon, Walk-a-Thon, and ongoing public, community, and corporate efforts to secure donations.
- Advocating to the government for investments, policies, and programs that address the needs of those seeking addiction treatment services and mental health support in Ontario.
- Promoting a coordinated, high-quality system of care that puts youth, adults and families first.
- Fostering an environment that encourages open and thorough discussion of issues.
